Did your baby’s birth meet your expectations?

For some women birth is an incredibly positive experience. However, this is not the case for everyone. Perhaps you have lingering feelings of regret and disappointment about what you experienced.  Or perhaps you are frightened of giving birth again.

You may feel sad or frustrated that things didn’t turn out the way you had hoped. It may be years since the birth of your child. But, things which happen when you are in a heightened state of awareness, as you were in childbirth, can make a lasting impression.

We are compiling and developing a series of online exercises that can help with the very  mixed feelings some of us have after giving birth.  Have a look through the Self help section and work with anything that feels good to you.  Not everyone can see a therapist on a one to one basis, but hopefully you can find something of use to you here.
